
Gaétan Kuchta is a French conductor of the new international generation, acclaimed for his electrifying podium presence and his ability to transform orchestras through energy, precision, and artistic vision. He is currently Professor of Conducting at the Pau Conservatory (France) and a highly sought-after guest conductor across Europe and the Americas.
Kuchta has appeared with orchestras in over a dozen countries, from major European music centers to leading ensembles in Mexico and South America. Known for his intense, passionate conducting style, he brings immediacy and dramatic focus to every performance, forging a strong connection between orchestra and audience.
A defining chapter of his career was his tenure as Music Director of the UAEH Symphony Orchestra (Mexico, 2016–2022), where he fundamentally reshaped the ensemble’s sound, rehearsal culture, and artistic identity. His repertoire spans more than 200 works and over 300 performances, alongside collaborations with prominent international soloists and leading orchestras.
Equally committed to education, Kuchta is an influential pedagogue, regularly invited to teach, conduct, and inspire young musicians in Europe and Latin America.
